These guys get points for DIY and reusing. Personally, I go with the bulk kitty litter, but these guys have put these containers to great use. An added benefit is visibility. You are certainly going to be noticed.
I doubt the wind makes much difference as long as the are securely attached, no more than a set of regular panniers or a full set of newspaper baskets.

The ones I use are white and originally held screws or insulation plates. I do believe I would have at least attempted to remove the labels...

Maybe they haven't gotten to that yet. Maybe it's a statement. They could start a trend. ;)
