The Midtown Greenway is still a work in progress, but every year more gardens spring up along it's route. Take some time, to take in the scenery on your rides. The Chai Cyclist is back.
I know what you mean about this too...one reason I love bicycling mainly as a means of transportation is that it's so much easier to stop and investigate something interesting when you're on a bike than when you're in a car...
I've discovered many an interesting plant, including some I've sneakily grown from cuttings...while biking by. =)

Looking forward to a great cycling season of great posts!
bikes and parks *are** the best together. omg, look at the face of that guy -wheeeeeeeee :D
very cute shots. xxo.m
It is so easy to stop for a flower garden and give it the proper inspection when on a bike. If in a car, I would be less likely to stop.
You know it's spring when The Chai Cyclist is blogging again. Good to see the Iciclebicyclist gone for now. Hello Riding 2010.
